Chopped Workshop Video

First of all, we would like to thank the 22 fine folks who participated in the workshop.  I think the hands on part was a bunch of fun.  I always learn so much from watching others shoot, regardless of skill level.  That, right there is the key.

Unfortunately, when it came to the editing section of the workshop, we ran into technical difficulties with the venue.  As promised, I came home and edited the video we shot during the demo.  You can see it here.  I have to say, I’m pleased with how it turned out.  Why do I sound surprised. 🙂

I also created a screen recording of the process.  The great thing about having a recording is you can replay it over, and over, and over again.  Hopefully, this video will show you how easily you can edit your footage using iMovie. The great thing is all the techniques translate to other editing tools.  The concepts are the same.

Finally, it doesn’t matter how you hard you try, it’s hard to keep videos about editing to under 30 minutes.  I know it’s long, but I promise you will learn a few tricks.

Enjoy!

I can’t wait to see what y’all shot during the workshop.  Please send us a link, or leave a comment with a link to your video.
